This is for all the put together women of the world.
For the moms who drop their kids off at school, dressed to kill, hair and makeup fully done.
For the moms who bring in Pinterest approved snacks into class parties.
For the women who think their house is a mess because there is a pile of mail on the coffee table.
For the wives with the perfect husbands who still go on monthly date nights.
For the women who find the time to go to the gym every day.
For the women who are always smiling. The women who love posting on social media about how perfect their lives are.
Real life is dropping off your kids with a granola bar stuck in your hair. It's bringing in juice boxes for the classroom party.
Real life is dishes overflowing the sink and laundry not always being put away. It's toys all over the floor.
Real life is having stay at home date nights with a bottle of wine after the kids go to bed. It's when you consider chasing your toddler as your workout.
Real life isn't perfect. Real life is sometimes thinking your children are little assholes and your husband is douche. Real life is crying into your coffee after a bad morning.
Real life is real messy.
Embrace it. Love it. But stop trying to make the rest of feel bad by pretending you have it all together.
Because the truth is: none of us do.
