Eric Frisch, a solo artist from New York City has released a new single, coupled with a music video release. The track is titled "The Light Ahead."
The track has a vintage vibe to it, recalling back to The Beach Boys or The Beatles, but it is also slow and relaxing like a modern indie track that just so happens to feature some past pop vibes.
The vocals are soft, but when you really listen to them they are magic. It is beautiful, honest and great for morning drives with the wind blowing through your hair, this blasting on the radio.
The lyrics are also great to listen to as you watch the clock, eagerly awaiting getting off work. There's a light ahead my friend.
For some reason, I picture this being maginficent on a ukulele. So someone do a cover maybe?
The Light Ahead is special because it's not necessarily like anything out right now. Anything unique and different that actually works, deserves recognition and acclaim.
Also, the music video features some pretty gnarley dance moves that you can learn with your friends. The dance moves are light hearted and perfectly capture the tone and vibe of the song.
Do yourself a favor and check out Eric Frisch's song and new music video. Bump it in your car, dance to it in your room, and hum it at your work. Let this be your new weekday anthem.
