Every little girl is told from the get go that one day her “prince" will come.
Every little girl is told that she will one day wear a white dress with a veil to cover her face as her daddy walks her down the church isle to her soul mate.
All of us still have that little girl inside of us. It's in our nature to not posess the patience to wait for that day. We look for our prince charming in grocery stores, in traffic, even in the line at the coffee shop as we wait to fuel our day with a burst of caffeine.
Impatience may only lead us all to heart break. Our hearts will be crumbled if “the one" we jumped to love actually turns out to be number one in chapter of goodbyes. On the other hand, “the one" could be the heartbreak within yourself; you may just end up wondering “what if"?
What if you just waited and loved yourself first?
What if you just would have loved your life instead of frantically searching for the one?
After so many failed attempts at relationships, I have finally learned that my life will bring my prince charming when the time is right. The mysterious future is an exciting concept.
I refuse to fight for love. There is so much I’ll miss if I continuously search for the diamond in the coal mine.
It’s like a race against time. The meaningful events in life will blow by in the wind past your ears if you do not slow down to take it all in one day at a time.
Someday, somewhere, and somehow your prince will come. I hope he actually wont be riding a horse and is wearing some version of modern day shining armor because that just might be a tiny bit alarming.
Patience is a virtue.
A virtue is a grace.
Enjoy life and your prince will someday come along to walk through the rest of your life holding your hand.
Do not rush time. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Tell the little girl inside of you to take it slow.
