His Love Roared Louder Than Her Demons

"Two damaged people trying to heal each other is love."

There isn't anything truer or more pure than that of true love. Love built not on a clean slate, but rather love built on a sensitive, fragile, rocky foundation.

A love that has taken years to unravel and thousands of tools to tear down the wall.

The wall that has spent years in the making, and a wall that isn't easily touched, much less broken down.

She's ashamed of her past and reluctant to the demons she's, unwelcomingly, picked up along the way.

Not because she has this deep, dark secret, but because she's been broken down alongside her journey for love.

She was never robust in her selection of men, or boys rather, but consistent in her heart giving away skills.

She knew not what she did until her heart lay shattered on the floor next to her.

The more she gave, the louder her demons became.

But like most, she reached a point in time where she completely stopped giving any part of herself to anyone else.

She became, isolated, bitter, and unknowingly insecure.

Feelings of being unwanted, never good enough, and shamelessly doubting herself struck far more often than ever before.

But it wasn't until the day she met the one who not only calmed, but silenced her demons, that she realized she was worth more than the voices inside of her head.

"A great relationship happens when two people who truly understand and love each other for who they are come together and create something stronger than either of them could be on their own."

The power of true, undying love is a force not to be reckoned with.

She has demons and he has demons too, but together these demons are defeated. It doesn't matter how loud, strong, or unforgiving these demons are, because his love roared indefinitely louder.
