I don’t really know where you came from. Why you walked right into my life and changed everything.
I don’t know how I got so lucky, to get to know someone like you. Someone who is so full of life, so full of love, even if sometimes, you can’t see it.
But there’s one thing I know for sure.
You are more than just a lesson.
You are more than just a passing phase, more than just a crush that I can will to go away.
Because trust me, I’ve tried that two thousand times over.
To forget your name, your face, the light that dances in your eyes when you smile.
I don’t know what the future is going to bring. I don’t know if you’ll still be around two, three, four years from now.
But I do know that when I first fell for you, it was a choice that I knew might hurt.
I knew it might not work out, that I might end up hating you for not being there, for not being the guy I was so sure that you were.
But I also knew that this kind of feeling, it only comes around every once in a while. Most people never get to have it.
