I know you're exhausted. I know you're drained. I know that you're just emotionally warn out and ready to give up. But you shouldn't.
The people around you, while they refuse to understand, they mean well. Their heart is in the right place, despite the hurtful words they say.
They love you and in their own way, they are only trying to help, even if it only leaves you feeling even worse than you already do about yourself. I want you to know that you're entitled to how you feel.
It's okay to not be okay, to be upset or down... embrace the suck.
You'll get frustrated with people, they will understand. When you're feeling like a giant cloud of negativity, feel it out don't try and fake a smile. Just let your moods come as they come.
And sometimes, if being alone is what you know you need just do it. Find the time for yourself
You need to let your body rest, let your body cry everything out that you're holding on to inside.
It is okay to push people away when you're not able to let them in, don't worry the time will come.
Stop apologizing and feeling bad for being human. You are allowed and entitled to that. Do not let anyone tell you differently.
You have fought through wars that most people couldn't even try to comprehend. You have faced so many battles that wounded you, yet you still stand up tall and take what life has thrown at you, and sure it hasn't been without a struggle.
It hasn't been without depression, it hasn't been without a fight but YOU DID IT.
You still do it every single day that you manage to get out of bed and face the world is another day you're fighting to be here, and who cares if you're sad? Who cares if you're depressed? As long as you are TRYING that is all that fucking matters!
You do what YOU feel you need to do in order to make it through this. If you need to cry, then you cry.
If you need to scream, then you go scream. If you need to throw something, then throw something, but do not ever apologize for grieving the way you need to.
Do not feel bad for embracing any feeling that comes your way. You need to handle this the way you see fit, not what anyone thinks.
So stop apologizing and go live your life.
