Life Lessons from The Office's Jim Halpert

Jim Halpert is half of the most beloved duo in TV history. His love for Pam Beasly would make even the most hard at heart give love a second chance. He is charming and relatable. Here are a few life lessons we can all learn from the one and only Jim Halpert.

Pulling a prank on a co-worker or friend is amazing.
If said friend or co-worker is anything like Dwight you may have a prank war on your hands. But it could strengthen your friendship.

Always go for what you want.
Casino night, Jim professes his love for Pam only for her to walk away. He marches right up and kisses her, queue the heart eye emojis.

Sometimes you just need to give people the face.
Jim is known for his goofy look right into the camera every time things go array. So when something isn’t going the way you would like it or someone is being annoying give them the finger… er face.

Don’t take life too seriously.
Wither it’s his pranks, his made up games with Pam, or his goofy looks, Jim always seems to have a great time. He works a desk job at a paper company and has me completely and utterly jealous of his life.

Love fearlessly
Pam was engaged. The odds didn’t seem to be in Jim’s favor, yet he continued to love her and win her heart. And he didn’t stop when he got her. The note he wrote her when she was pregnant with their second child is everything.

Marry your best friend
Jim and Pam are the definition of #relationshipgoals. They are quirky and relatable. You see them resolve conflict and sacrafice for each other. I’m not crying, you are.

Life is too short. Go for what you want in life, and make the face at anyone who tries to stand in your way.

Maybe I'm asking entirely too much, but this is what I want. Forever.

Maybe I am asking entirely too much.. but I want to know everything about you, yet you always keep me guessing. I want you to laugh at all my jokes, even when they aren't funny. I want you to go through extreme laughs just to see me smile. I want to overhear you bragging about me. I want you to show me off to all your friends and family. I want you to never stop looking at me the way you do now, like its the first time you've ever seen me and it will be the last time in a long time all wrapped into one. I want your eyes to never stop twinkling when you talk about me and how you fell for me. I don't ever want these butterflies to fade away every time you reach for my hand or pull me in for a kiss. I want your arms to be the safest place I've ever known. I want you to be nervous when you see me in a pretty dress like you haven't won me over yet. I want to catch you checking me out, and often. I want you to take me on grand adventures all over the world, all across the state and all over the town. I want you to do cheesy and over the top gestures to show me you love me. I never want to stop telling our story. I want our biggest fights to always be who scored bigger and who loves who more. I want you to be my best friend and side kick. I don't want us to ever loose our passion. I want us to be so lovey dovey our kids are grossed out by it. I want our kids to grow up hoping to have a love like ours.

I want you to never stop. When I get scared. When I push you away. When I get hangry. When I say no. When I try to run away. I want you to never stop chasing me, pursing me, and adoring me like you do now.
