You've become the most important person in my world. You are my shoulder to cry on and the one who loves everything about me. It hasn't been easy, but it's been worth it.

So I thank you my love with all my heart…

For putting up with my moods and attitude. There's probably was not a day that went by where I wasn't acting like a complete idiot but you loved me anyways. You rarely got mad, and when you did it never lasted long. You just get me in every way, even when I don't even know what's going on with myself. You're my voice of reason when I need a reality check and just can't thank you enough for being so selfless and caring. 

For being open to discover the world with me. When I met you, I think the first thing we talked about was how much we loved traveling. We talked about the beauty in foreign places and how so much history places beyond us have is so mesmerizing. The moments that I though could not get any better, always were when you were by my side. And I can't wait to keep piling up the good memories everywhere we choose to discover together.

For being there unconditonally when I need you the most. No matter what is happening, you are always there right by my side. You never complain. You simply just make every unbearable moment enjoyable or at least okay. You have the power to put me at ease no matter what state I'm in. I couldn't ask for a better person to lean my heart on. 

For teaching me that I can be loved. All of my past relationships have been train wrecks. When I met you, it was like it was something that was way too good to be true. I doubted it for months because I though nobody could every love and appreciate me like the way that you do. So thank you for showing me that.

But most importantly, thank you for teaching me how to love. My past distorted my views on how and even how to love someone for that matter. I was so used to loving people who constantly hurt me, so loving you was something foreign to me. You taught me that I deserve the moon and the stars and I will forever be grateful for you allowing me to be the person who is so much in love with you.

Relationships come and go in life. Some that change our whole outlook on life may leave. One thing I promise you is that I am not going anywhere without you. Thank you for believe in me and for loving me. I will always be right by your side

A little over a year ago Louisiana was hit by flooding. This wasn’t a hurricane or a named storm,  but it was days of raining that flooded many cities and towns. People all over we’re bringing boats, food, etc, for those in need.

A few days ago, Texas was hit hard by a Category 4 hurricane. 

People from all over, once again, are fleeting to Houston, Beaumont, Port Aurther, Rockport, etc., to rescue and help those who have lost everything. 

In Louisiana, we know all too well what losing your home and everything you have feels like. Last year for us, the Cajun Navy formed and rescued people all over the Baton Rouge area. Now they have made it to Houston to help once again.

With many friends that went to help, I have heard how devastating it is. It’s worse than the news shows. Thousands of people are still being rescued. Countless people have lost all of their belongings. Many people can not get in touch with relatives.

This is the worst hurricane to hit the US since Katrina. 

When you’re going to sleep tonight, please keep Texas in your prayers. I can’t imagine going through what they are, and I am so saddened for them all. 

Texas, just know we got you. We all love you. We will do whatever it takes and will help you rebuild. You helped us time after time, and now it’s our turn to help you.

I never knew how drastically someone can swoop in, and in a matter of months change your life for the better. 

Isn't it weird to think not too long ago I didn't even know you existed? I thought that there wasn't a guy like you out there. 

Someone sweet, caring, knowledgeable, confident, who wants to spend every minute of every day with me. And then I met you.

You shook my world.

We're inseparable. You lived with me, cooked dinner for me, took long car rides to go on adventures with me. Where I am, you generally are.  

I started to let you inside my mind and my heart. I don't know what it was, but there was something about you that made me trust you quicker than I've ever been able to trust anyone else. 

I knew I loved you right away. Yes, I know that is early. But I knew because I would catch myself looking at you, thinking about how perfect you are and how happy you make me. 

I realized that there was nobody else I would rather let inside my heart. 

I haven't told you yet, and neither have you, but I know you feel the same way I do. I can see it in your eyes and how you treat me. 

You're my person, and honestly, I don't know where I'd be without you.

You're my favorite, and you always will be. 

Before I met you, I thought love was just a fairy tale. 

The men before you, they didn’t treat me the way I knew I deserved. Because of that, I never imagined myself falling in love. I didn’t think that anyone could possibly love me the way you do now.

When I met you I thought you were the most wonderful person. But because of my past, I never imagined that you would like me for me. I thought you were going to be like every other guy that “expressed feeling” for me. 

But you weren’t like every other guy. You stayed.

When I tried to push you away, you pulled me closer. When I let you meet my parents, you loved them. You let me meet your family, which was something you have never done before. 

You have shown me what love is.

Love is being able to care and be with someone when they are being a complete jerk. Love is getting through the fights and becoming stronger together afterward. 

Love is not sharing your wonderful day when you know they have had the worst day. Love is being able to share all of your secrets, insecurities, and friendships with someone and them appreciating it. 

I will forever be thankful for you. You are my best friend and the love of my life. 

Thank you for loving me in every way I’ve always dreamed of.

I don't know where you are or if I have met you yet, but I am so excited for our life together. My dream is to have a big family, be happy, and spend time enjoying life. I am so excited for that day because it will change the rest of my life. But before you can love me forever, there are some things you need to know…

I have a lot of emotional baggage. 

Yes, everyone else does too, but I've been through more than most. I've been heart broken time after time. I care so instantly and so deeply that it makes me vulnerable to getting hurt a lot. 

I've seen some really low days. 

On those days I wonder if I even have any strength left to pick myself up and carry on. Those days? They're not pretty. Please just bear with me through them and love me enough to help us get through them. 

Sometimes I can be crazy. 

I spend hours obsessing over one thing, I take forever to fall asleep, and I have a major coffee addiction that makes me bounce off the walls at times. Within all that craziness, I promise there's someone who is caring, sweet, and funny. 

I don't always have time to look perfect. 

Sometimes I look like a complete mess. That's just how I am, and it's not going to change. I don't feel the need for a full face of makeup to go shopping, or to dress up to go to the movies. But when I do get fancy, I hope it takes your breath away.

It took me years to become the woman I am today. 

It took a ton of tears, scars, and therapists to be the person standing in front of you on our wedding day. But when that day comes, I'm ready. I'm going to be ready to care for you, irritate you, love you, and have the most amazing times with you, for the long haul.

A marriage commitment is forever in my eyes.

I have seen people get divorces and I know I will never allow that to happen in my life. The day I say 'I do", I mean that. All I ask is for you love, acceptance, and loyalty. If you can promise me those things, I will love you until the end of time.

If you're like me and your boyfriend is your best friend then I am sincerely happy for you. Each day I wake up and fall asleep to the person who means everything to me. There is no person I would rather commit to, make time for, and care for. 

Before I met this man, my best friends were always trying to get me to go to bars on the weekends which isn't my thing. Being an introvert, I usually spent my nights alone binge-watching Netflix. I spent so much time alone that I felt like my friends didn't care unless they wanted something. 

When I met my current boyfriend we automatically hit it off. My friends would blame him for me not wanting to go out with them, and made me feel horrible for having him in my life. That was when I realized that I didn't need the negativity in my life. 

Over time, my boyfriend became the person binge-watching Netflix with me on Friday nights. He didn't try to force me to do things I wasn't comfortable with. He cared for me during my moody days without even complaining.

I am not saying to drop your friends for the guy you're dating. Just don't let negativity into your life and ruin your relationship. Dating your best friend is great.

Every guy I have ever dated has either used me in some way or cheated on me. I have never been in a good or long relationship. I have trust issues, and I'm not good at opening up.

With you, everything is different. The way I feel myself opening up to you scares me senseless. My feelings for you have grown so fast.

Within a few months of being with you, I knew this relationship was going to be different. 

You are kind, humble, hardworking, and such a sweetheart. Being by your side makes me feel full of life again.

Just know, I am not easy to love. I have been broken. Pieces of me are still missing. Those nights that I cry myself to sleep, please just hold me. 

I will love you unconditionally. I will be by your side through any curve balls that come your way. I will show you what it's like to have someone so deeply in love with you.

I don't need someone to fix me, I just need someone to show me the love I deserve. I don't ask for much, just love. So please, don't hurt me.

Everyone knows who Meredith Grey is even if they don’t watch Grey’s Anatomy. She is a bold, strong, independent, and beautiful woman. She is my spirit animal. 

1. She’s your “person”

Almost everyone can confide in her, and she knows how to handle every situation like a champ.

2. Tequila is like water to her 

Sometimes everyone needs a little alcohol pick me up and she is always there to enjoy it with them.

3. 30 second dance parties make her sane

When she’s feeling a little out of it she just needs to dance a little for it all to make sense.

4. She worries about everything and everyone.

No matter if it’s Alex’s court hearing or Christina’s wedding, Meredith worries enough for them.

5. She is brutally honest 

Everyone needs some honesty sometimes and she will tell you if you’re being completely stupid.

6. Shaving her legs is a big accomplishment 

Who likes the girls who have their legs completely shaved all the time anyways?

7. She loves to cuddle sometimes

If someone tells you they like cuddling all of the time, that is a lie unless it’s with Mcdreamy.

Even though Grey’s Anatomy and the characters are always changing, Meredith will forever be my spirit animal.

When I was growing up, you were always so much older than I was. We didn't get that sibling bond in the beginning because you were too busy with your friends, boys, whatever else was going on in your life.

Now that we're both older, I'm so thankful that we are so close and such a big age apart.

You have taught me to be kind to the girls who were once my friends but now talk bad about me. 

You taught me to forgive the boy who broke my heart because he was broken inside. 

Your children have taught me a love so deep and exciting.

Standing next to you, I know you have learned a few things from me as well. Instead of being so harsh on yourself, you now love the person you are. 

You learned to always be there for your siblings when I was hospitalized because of a suicide attempt. I know that I hurt you, but it wasn't my intention at all.

My point is that you are such an inspiration to me. You have been a blessing in disguise, so they say, all of my life. 

Thank you for letting me be one of your best friends and being my shoulder to cry on at 3am.
