Men love explaining to stuff to women, especially on Twitter. I think they view themselves as information sheriffs, scrolling through Twitter in search of fair maidens who desperately need their help. The thing is, not only is the help often unwanted, but it is also very frequently incorrect.

This Broke Bride Tried To Get A Makeup Artist To Work For Free, And The Exchange Is Infuriating
Who doesn’t love sharing a good bridezilla story?
An exceptionally entitled bride emailed makeup artist u/MandieKitty requesting free makeup on the day of her wedding in exchange for “portfolio photos.” The bride’s reasoning was that she’s a local “model” offering the makeup artist work as a “collaboration” when in reality, she’s just broke and/or cheap.
The email exchange got blasted to Reddit, where nearly three thousand upvoters and commentators weighed in on the situation. Here’s the bride’s initial email:
MandieKitty replied in a scolding but much-deserved manner that free makeup services aren’t a thing, and certainly not a collaborative effort when the makeup artist in question is the only vendor working for free.
In reply, the bride called OP dumb and unprofessional. So the makeup artist promised to forward the bride’s request far and wide (in Sacramento, anyway), to ensure no other artists even consider blessing bridezilla with their services.
First of all, people wondered, why not budget for makeup but budget for everything else?
Secondly, why bother including the fact that literally everyone but the MUA was going to be paid?
THIRDLY, the 2 cents line…makes no sense.
And lastly…
If you don’t work for free, don’t expect others to do so! Thank you!
Woman Gets Sweet Revenge On The Boss Who Forced Her To Come To Work Sick
If you’ve ever had an unreasonably strict manager, you know how intimidating it can be to request even the simplest of things like, say, a day off because you’re violently ill with food poisoning. A good manager would understand and encourage you to stay home.
Unfortunately, this was not the case for a woman working in the UK who was forced to come in despite her sickness, but she did get the best possible revenge and people are loving her story.
Redditor SarahfromEngland was recently forced to go into work after calling in sick with a violent bout of food poisoning.
Fortunately, she had karma on her side…and lots of vomiting.
Needless to say, people were loving the tale of sweet karma.
And some even shared their own stories.
Safe to say, it’s probably best to just stay home.

Woman Who Clogged A Colonic Machine Gets Gently But Brutally Owned In Owner’s Yelp Review Response
If you’re going to go for a colonic and pay for it, you want to get everything cleaned out. I mean, not just a little bit, I mean everything. Tyler McCall recently discovered a hilarious Yelp review from one woman who, apparently paid a lot of money and expected her entire system to be cleansed, but, her appointment was cut short due to the fact that she “clogged” the machine. McCall read the original complaint on Yelp that read:
But, after seeing the complaint, the owner of the colonics place totally owned her in the most polite and brutal way possible. McCall said it was hilarious—and, she had to share with the world because it truly is.

I can’t stop laughing. Not only was he overly honest with the woman about how long it took her to literally clog a machine, but he was passive aggressive saying “that’s amazing for you!” I’m crying—who clogs an entire colonic machine? How much does this woman poop?!?
People on Twitter could not stop laughing at how hilarious the situation was and how amazing the owner’s response is.

This is easily the best Yelp response to a complaint we have ever seen and, to the owner of this colonics spot—we applaud you.
Women Are Sharing Their Mansplaining Horror Stories And We’re Fuming
Anyone who’s ever had the extreme misfortune of encountering a mansplainer know just how insulting it can be. It happens all too often and is honestly one of the most infuriating situations to be in.
At the very least, we can take solace in the fact that these mansplainers make complete idiots out of themselves and get roasted into oblivion on Twitter.
Nicole Froio, a women’s studies Ph.D. candidate, recently asked her Twitter followers about the most obvious thing a man has every mansplained to them.
Froio also clarified the definition of ‘mansplaining’ for any naysayers who might decide to chime in.
My personal favorite definition is one provided by Urban Dictionary: “A man whom by virtue of the authority and privilege vested in him by society feels entitled to preach or explain how the world works. Bonus, if he is speaking to women, whom he perceives to be naive and ignorant, about problems and concerns with which women have real life every day experience, and the man has NO f***ing clue what he is talking about. This is usually done in a patronizing insensitive manner.”
Unsurprisingly, the women of Twitter had plenty to share.
Oh, boy.
This woman had her own heritage mansplained to her.
Scientists aren’t even safe from mansplainers.
Neither are the female academics of the world.
Nor the education professionals.
Mansplainers have gone so far as to patronize women about things like childbirth…
My eyes have never rolled so hard.
And the functions of breast milk.
