Ariana Grande Puts The Grammy’s On Blast After She Pulls Out Of Performance

With award season upon us, The Grammy’s happen to be just around the corner. With any major show, the Recording Academy has planned a solid lineup of major names in the music industry to perform, present awards, and hopefully win some too. With her year of successful music releases and singles, Ariana Grande was a top name to perform at the show. However, Grande has now declined an offer to perform at The Grammy’s altogether.

According to Variety, Grande backed out of the show after the Recording Academy said she could not perform her latest single “7 Rings.” Producers of the show, instead, told Grande that she could perform the song “as a medley,” as long as they have “final say” on the other songs she performs. Grande, however, said she was left feeling “insulted” and instead of agreeing, she pulled out of the show altogether.

After the news broke, producers spoke to the Associated Press and issued a statement saying that Grande had “felt it was too late to pull something together.”

Grande, however, wasn’t going to let her good name get dragged through the mud. She issued a series of response tweets online saying her “creativity” was “stifled” by the producers.

Many people on Twitter were on Grande’s side, supporting her decision and response to pull out from the show.

‘Modern Family’s’ Sarah Hyland Quits Twitter After Trolls Harass Her Over Cousin’s Death

Most of us enjoy following our favorite stars’ on social media with the sole purpose of keeping up with the gossip and living vicariously through their glamorous celebrity lifestyles. Unfortunately, because this is the internet and we can’t have nice things, there are never a shortage trolls out there waiting to ruin it all.

Modern Family star Sarah Hyland recently shared some very tragic personal news on her Twitter account and while there were messages of support for the young actress, there were also numerous commenters who had nothing better to do than respond with negativity and criticism.

Modern Family star Sarah Hyland recently shared on social media that her cousin had been tragically killed in a car accident.

Hyland’s cousin Trevor was only 14 years old and the accident is said to have allegedly been caused by a drunk driver. According to the official police report, Trevor was ejected from the vehicle and passed away in the hospital later that day.

Hyland wrote that her uncle, who was also involved in the accident, was still awaiting intensive surgery.

“Yesterday my 14 year old cousin was killed by a drunk driver named Jeffrey Eggerling. My Uncle is in the hospital awaiting more surgeries. PLEASE keep your prayers with my family during this horrific time. And please DONATE.”

She also added a link to a GoFundMe page that was created by Trevor’s family to help pay for his funeral expenses.

Hyland’s family writes of Trevor, “Trevor was a funny, smart, innovative, athletic, goofy kid and he was so loved. His memory will live on in many ways. Please help us do this for the family now to help ease their suffering away from money to focus on healing emotionally. Thank you.”

While many of Sarah’s fans offered messages of compassion and support, there were some commenters who argued she could afford to pay the funeral expenses on her own.

Shortly after, Hyland responded to these comments asking that anyone with negative opinions keep them to themselves.

“How dare you attack when a beautiful life has been lost,” Hyland wrote.

But unfortunately, that didn’t keep the trolls at bay for very long and the nasty comments continued.

Seriously, do people having nothing better to do?

And Hyland finally had enough, announcing she would be leaving social media temporarily.

One fan came to the actress’s defense by reminding followers that with her chronic kidney condition, Hyland probably has her own medical expenses to pay for.

And many others shared messages of love and positivity.

For what it’s worth, Sarah, we think you’re great.
