I try to hire on the best people I can find. We don’t have a long, drawn out interview process, but I don’t just hire people at random, either. It takes an awful lot of work, coordination and organization to get our sites updated and marketed every day, so we need people who are hard working and dedicated.
“Dedication” is the key word here. Earlier today, one of our writers/editors, Anna, was working on an article about boy bands of the 1990’s. Apparently she got so consumed with what she was working on, that while I was out to lunch, she let the music take over, and I came back to find that in my absence, the office had been turned into a virtual dance studio.
Well done, Anna! It’s totally cool to have fun at work, but if it’s caught on video, it’s getting posted!
