Boost Your Self-Care Energy with a Spring Cleanse

Boost Your Energy with a Spring Cleanse

One question for the year 2020: what happened?

Instead of blossoming nature and long walks in sunny weather, we get a pandemic and have to quarantine. As springs go, this one doesn’t look like it’s going to be a great one. However, we’re not ready to give up yet. Now, more than ever before, it’s important to keep our spirits high and fight the increasing tension that’s threatening to upset our balance. Anxiety is in the air and times aren’t easy for anyone, so we have to keep our minds and bodies strong.
The best way to heal and regain our strength is to tap into the blooming power of spring. We’re about to show you how to cleanse your mind, body, and spirit to boost your natural energy and resilience.

Breathe in, breathe out

Mental health comes first. There’s simply no way you can stay healthy or help anyone if you are paralyzed by anxiety, so regaining mental clarity needs to be your primary goal. Every cleanse should start with breathing exercises. Find a quiet alone spot and begin by breathing in deeply. Hold the breath for a few seconds and then breathe out slowly. Repeat this several times.
These simple steps are the basics. Whenever you find yourself tense or overwhelmed, just find a corner where you can be alone for a few moments and breathe. Simply breathe and let each exhale take some of that tension away. You can take these simple exercises further and turn them into daily meditation practice.
