Red Red Wine Guide
The benefits of drinking red wine (in moderation) have been known for eons. But the question is ‘which wine is the best for your health?’
According to new studies, red wine can help prevent heart disease, fight cancer, promote weight loss by burning fat as well as improve memory and cognitive brain function.
Not all wines are created equal, though. In extensive research done by Leroy Creasy, PhD, a professor emeritus in the Department of Horticulture at Cornell University he found that some are definitely more antioxidant potent.
If you want to get the most out of your bottle of vino, here’s what to look for:
1. Pinot Noir
In Leroy’s research on over 100 different red wines, Pinot Noir consistently had the highest concentration of resveratrol (super antioxidant).
