11 Signs You're Casually High Maintenance

Most people tend to see being high maintenance as something negative. But I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it, especially if it’s on the casual side.

To be a causally high maintenance girl is to have style and class in your own way without taking yourself too seriously:

  1. You walk the walk without the talk. You carry your Hermes bag without shoving it in anyone’s face through Instagram photos. You never brag about your material possessions because you didn’t buy them for the world to see, you bought them because you like them.
  2. You love to dress up. Especially when you go out. The make up, the high heels, the colors, the glamor, the photos that come afterwards, you love it all. The best part is that you do it for yourself.
  3. Winter season is fur coat season. You look forward to the snowy days because that’s when it’s time to bring out the fur and retro boots. Plus, fur coats are basically portable heaters.
  4. Your friends are shocked when they see your closet. Because you’re such a chill person, they expect your closet to be the same way. They certainly didn’t expect it to have walls of color coded shoes.
  5. You dress casually with style. You roll your eyes at women who say sweatpants ruin marriages. They don’t seem to understand the delicate art of mixing casual with fashionable. You can be sexy and comfortable at the same time.
  6. You confuse your haters. They’d like to say you’re uppity and snobbish, but your great personality won’t allow them to.
  7. Most men can’t handle you…because you’re easily unimpressed. They like to use fluffy words to lure you in, but actions speak much louder than words and you’d rather them actually put effort into the relationship than just use words to validate it.
  8. You’re smart with your money. You work quite hard for your bank which is why you like to treat yo’ self.
  9. You’re always prepared…which is why you have so many stuff. You never know when you actually need them.
  10. Flawless comes naturally to you…because you’ve had so much practice.
  11. It’s not that you deserve the best, you just go for it. You enjoy having the best things in life with no apologies.
