You're Not Broken, You're Perfectly Flawed

It’s so easy to get comfortable in being broken, but nothing’s broken forever. Eventually, broken pieces need to be restored.

The beauty you’re desperately searching for isn’t in the mirror. It’s deep inside of the girl who’s tearing down the walls around her heart for a breath of fresh air.

Beauty is found in all those scars, wrinkles, and stretch marks. They’re evidence of your growth and failures, and the person you became after them.

You’re more than worthy.

Fuck whoever it was who told you that you’re not worthy of anything because you might not fit the part according to society’s standards. It’s total and complete bullshit.

Metaphorically speaking, it doesn’t matter what the person looks like next to you at an audition. No matter the role you want in life, you are worthy enough to be the star.

When you take away all those toxic words spoken over you and take a good look at yourself in the mirror, you’ll actually see yourself. You’ll see that you deserve to be fully happy in this life.

Stop bullying yourself.

If you were to say all of the things you say to yourself to your best friend, do you think they’ll still be friends with you? It’s time to stop being the bully you’ve always feared and start being the best friend you’ve always wanted.

In your darkest hour, when your friends may not know how to help you get through it, you’ll only have yourself. Take it easier on yourself. Life is hard, and you’re taking it one step at a time.

Sometimes you’ll fall. But there’s no point in kicking yourself while you’re down.

It’s okay to care too much.

Yes, you love hard and you might care a little too damn much. Embrace that fact, because we need more people like you in this world. Your compassion is one of the many things that make you unique.

Let it out, and give yourself a friggin break. You’ve held your guard up for too long, that now your heart needs to breathe.
