There are two kinds of people in this world: Craft beer connoisseurs and full on winos. And you already know which side you belong on. Of course there are the floaters who drift between the two worlds, but for you… you're a die hard wine gal. And you're not afraid to show it. Here are some signs that your love of wine has entered a whole new level of obsession:
1. Your wine glass collection has gotten completely out of control: stemless, over-sized, hand-painted, glittery and shatterproof. You have it all.
2. You're selective in when you choose to taste the difference between a box o' wine and a grade a bottle. Because you know at the end of the day… wine is better than no wine.
3. Whenever the waiter pours your glass at a restaurant, you stare at them. You give them the look that says "Who do you think I am?" And wait for them to keep pouring.
4. When you heard that wine ice cream was a thing. You took a moment to pray to the high heavens.
5. You have an irrational fear that when you show up to a party, they might not have a cork screw. So you start brainstorming alternative ways to get that bottle poppin'.
6. The liquor store staff knows you as "both arms" because you best believe that when you walk up to the counter, you have bottles in both arms. That might last you for half of the week if you ration correctly.
7. Hangover? You've defied the odds when it comes to a wine-over. The last time you woke up with a headache was when you drank a full package of wine coolers. You must have run out of wine.
8. The only thing that might compare to wine is sangria. Which is fruity wine.
9. Wine has convinced you that you can be both a recluse and an insanely talented tabletop dancer. With wine, anything is possible.
10. When you go on a wine tasting, you barely taste the wine because you're too busy drinking it. Drinking all of it.
11. One thing is certain, whenever you're home… you fill that glass to the rim. Why take multiple trips?
12. Nothing compares to the dreams you have after a wine night with the girls. Most of your dreams could be on par with the Harry Potter series if you actually remembered them when you woke up.
13. You know that you'll always be a fan of wine, and you fear for the day where they come out with wine flavored beer. Those two things should never mix.
