13 Signs You and Your Guy BFF Should Go From The Friend Zone To The End Zone

Guys aren’t the only ones who get stuck in the friend zone. Even ladies have been there.

You guys started out as friends, but the more you got to know him, the more you guys hung out, it hit you… You actually like this guy.

And now you’re at this awkward point where you aren’t sure if he feels the same way or if it’s just you. The only way to know is to ask, but before you do, you should have some of these signs:

1. You guys talk all day, every day.

You get ‘good morning’ and ‘good night’ texts and everything in between.

2. Though you talk every day, y’all never have a dull moment.

Even if you’ve only been friends a few weeks or a few years, there’s rarely a moment of silence. This means y’all have a connection, a spark, and you shouldn’t let that go.

3. Both of your friend groups are always asking why y’all don’t just date.

And you both laugh it off, but in the back of your mind, you ask yourself the same thing. He’s probably thinking it too.

4. He’s seen you dressed as a 10 and as a -10 and still treats you the same.

He’s seen you at your worst and your best, and he still stuck around? Girl, what are you waiting for!?

5. You find yourself taking longer than usual to get ready to hang out with him.

You’re making sure your make-up looks good and your outfit is perfect. And you’ve noticed, he’s not in his normal basketball shorts and a t-shirt, it actually looks like you’re both trying to impress each other.

You just need to date already.

6.The ‘little things’ keep happening.

Maybe his hand is always on you, or you find ways to touch each other when you’re together.

He’s into you, and if you aren’t drawing your hand back or moving immediately, you’re into him too.

7. Both of your families’ think your already together even though you’ve explained 1000 times that he’s just a ‘friend.’

They see it. So why don’t y’all?

8. He’s offering to pick up the tab more than usual, and you’re letting him.

You’re basically already dating, why not just make it official?

9. You both want each other’s advice about the big decisions in life, and then you actually take the other’s advice.

When you’re turning down moving away from each other, or doing things that would require less time spent with each other, y’all are destined to be together.

10. You have those awkward, movie-like silences.

You know, where the two actors have their first kiss. Y’all just avoid eye contact and pretend like nothing happened. You’re basically avoiding the inevitable.

11. You tell each other you love one another, but there’s actual meaning behind it.

It’s not like friend love. It’s like ‘I’d give you my kidney if you needed it’ kind of love. The kind of love you don’t get every day.

12. You’re both having a hard time finding relationships.

Nobody seems to be Mr. or Mrs. Right. That’s because Mr. and Mrs. Right are best friends and trying to avoid that they’re madly in love with each other.

13. You joke about why you guys would never work about.

But all the reasons seem so minute and not based on anything that’s a real dealbreaker. So in actuality, you’re both just in denial.

Instead of avoiding the inevitable, embrace it. Tell that guy you love him. And he’ll tell you the same.

Live happily ever after. You both deserve each other.
