1) She always knows what you’re thinking, even before you do.
You’ve been staring off in the distance, brooding about some boy or something that happened at work countless times, and she’ll say “What did he/they do now?”
She can always tell when you’re hurting, and she can always tell when you’re about to blow your gasket.

If you have the tendency to blow off the handle at the smallest things, she’s the only one who can calm you down.
She’ll say one or two words and immediately, you relax. She’s the only one who can help you when you don’t know where to turn.
3) She finishes your sentences.
The same way she reads your thoughts, she will finish whatever it is you’re saying. You’ve often found yourself a little confused when you say the most random sentence after not speaking for a few minutes, and she knows exactly what you’re talking about and will jump in and fill the sentence.
It’s actually a little creepy, but you love it all the same.
4) She can make you laugh when you’re in the middle of sobbing your eyes out.
When you’re overwhelmed with life or love, and you feel like you’re breaking into a million pieces, she will say something that will instantly make you laugh through the tears. She knows how to turn your frown upside down, and she’s done so on numerous occasions.
5) She threatens anyone who tries to hurt you.
She is your protector. If someone hurts you, it’s on. She’s going to make their life a living hell for messing with her best friend. If you start talking to a new guy, she’s there to tell them what will happen to them if they harm you in any way. She’s your guardian angel.
6) She sees straight through your pretenses.
When you try to pretend you’re not upset or angry, she knows. She can tell when you’re hiding something.
She’s the only one who can tell when you’re not yourself. Even if you’re the world’s best actor, it will not stop her from seeing straight through you. That’s the thing about soulmates. They have a way of seeing not into your eyes, but straight into your soul.
7) She can listen to you ramble endlessly for hours and never once complain.
You’ve probably told her the same stories a thousand times, and she’s never told you to shut up. She loves your stories. She loves you.
8) She knows all of your secrets.
Even the ones you haven’t worked up the courage to tell her, she knows. She knows everything there is to know about you.
She’s like your living, breathing diary. She never judges you for your past, and she listens attentively whenever there’s something wrong.
9) She knows exactly what will cheer you up.
She’s probably the only one who knows you hate chocolates, and will bring you sour candy instead when you’re sad. She knows your favorite TV shows, movies, and music. She knows exactly what will make you happy again.
10) She’s seen you through the darkest times of your life.
There have been ups, and there have been downs. You’ve hit rock bottom, and when others left? She always stayed. She helped pick you up, brush you off, and push you to the topside again.
She’s seen you at your worst, and it never once made her think of running for the hills.
11) She believes in you more than anyone else.
She knows all of your dreams, and she knows that you’ll achieve them. Even if you doubt yourself, she’s going to be your biggest supporter. She knows all that you’re capable of, and will continuously remind you of that.
12) She is always down for a late night road trip, no matter what.
She knows it’s the only thing that will truly make you happy when you’re down, and she’ll go wherever you go. At a moment’s notice, she’s ready and willing to travel wherever you’re going.

She will outrank any family member or any future friend, because she’s the only one who’s truly been there through it all. She will be right there beside you when you take those first big steps, and you know you’ll be right there beside her during hers.
14) She’s the only one you let control the radio besides you.
She’s the only person who has the same crazy music tastes as you. You trust no one with the radio, because they’ll end up annoying you. But she always knows the songs you need to hear, and she’ll even introduce you to some new favorites.

Through it all, she’s been your backbone. She taught you how to fight, how to survive, and how to never give up.
