32 Things I Pray My Future Husband Knows

To my future husband…

1. I pray that he knows how grateful I am for this chance to be his.

2.  I pray that he knows just how lucky he is to be by my side.

3. I pray that he can learn how to shut off the stove, because I tend to forget.

4. I pray that he doesn’t mind the late, midnight snacks.

5. I pray that he is in it for the long-haul, and because temporary is not an option.

6. I pray that he is willing to accept my family for who we are.

7. I pray that he can put up with my crazy best friend and all of our nonsense conversations.

8. I pray he can see me at my worst, but still love me all the same.

9. I pray he enjoys watching sports just as much as I do.

10. I pray that he is up for all sorts of new adventures: road trips, weekend getaways, or even hiding out in the bedroom all day.

11.  I pray that he is willing to be open and honest with me about every feeling that he has.

12.  I pray he is willing to protect me during all of our horror movie marathons, along with the nights that follow.

13. I pray that he is willing to treat me as a queen and just like my best friend expects.

14. I pray that he is willing to accept my family and their traditions as his own.

15. I pray that he loves wine just as much as I do.

16. I pray that I can make him smile at least a dozen times every day.

17. I pray that he has the confidence to try to out-sing me in the car.

18. I pray that being his best friend is something that he never gets sick of.

19. I pray that when he knows I am the one, he does not hesitate to make me his, forever.

20. I pray that when something fantastic happens in my life, that you are the first one I can share it with.

21. I pray that when the time comes for me to have your child, that you are there for every step of the way.

22. I pray that he knows that he can count on me, and no matter what he needs, I will be there.

23. I pray that he has faith in us, and that no matter what it is, we can work it out.

24. I pray that he knows just how much he is teaching me and helping me grow, every single day.

25. I pray that he will forgive me when I eat all his French fries.

26. I pray that he can look past our differences.

27. I pray that at the end of each day he kisses me goodnight.

28. I pray that he still loves me even after riding with me in the car.

29. I pray he knows how scared I am to lose him and all that we have.

30. I pray that every day he falls more in love with me.

31. I pray that he continues to love and support his sport teams, and invites me to join in.

32.  I pray he knows how happy I am to face tomorrow with him by my side.
