Everyone wants to be loved. Everyone wants to recieve. Everyone wants to feel wanted, special, and unique. There is only 4 days left until CHRISTMAS… on these four special days, dedicate your time to doing acts of kindness throughout each day for the last 4 days of Christmas…
1. Pick out 4 Roses and hand them out: Day 1. Whether you are walking in downtown, taking the subway, on your way to work, riding a bike, or simply running errands, open your eyes to the strangers surrounding you. Pick out four random strangers at different times throughout your day and reward them randomly with a beautiful rose. As you do this make sure to smile and say, “merry Christmas” as you walk away. Leave them guessing as to why you chose them out of the 7 billion people on this planet to bestow this act of kindness to.
2. Print out 4 small pieces of paper (fortune cookie size) that say “you are beautiful:” Day 2. Make sure to pick out people who would least expect this random act of kindess. As you go about your day pick different people from different backgrounds, ages, and ethnicities. As you hand them the piece of paper say, “I just wanted to remind you that……..(insert paper in their hand).” As they smile back to you say, “merry Christmas” and walk away.
3. Prepare 4 loaded sandwiches: Day 3. Make sure these sandwiches are loaded and tasty. Pick out four random homeless people at different times throughout the day and as you hand them this tasty treat say, “you are loved, merry Christmas.” Watch as their entire face lights up.
4. Serenade 4 couples: Day 4. You have made it to Christmas day! CONGRATULATIONS. People’s hearts are bursting with love on this day so don’t be afraid to go outside of your comfort zone with a random act of kindness. Don’t brave this on your own, bring some friends, musical instruments, and a fun kind of attitude. Pick out four random couples (best to do in downtown where there is a lot to choose from.) and serenade them to a love song. Watch as their hearts melt towards each other and sparks begin to fly once again!
