5 Reasons Why Kansas City is the Best City

1. Sports

The boys in blue are always right next door to our Chiefs kingdom! Two of the most talked about places in KC.

After 2015, and even before then, there was nothing better than going to a Friday night ball game, kicking back and watching the firework display after watching our favorite boys play. There is definitely a feeling at this park that you’ll never feel at another.

And then the Chiefs kingdom right next door you can’t forget either, I mean how could you? We’re the loudest stadium in the world! The Chiefs have a very pumped atmosphere, especially when our favorite rival is in town…(Raiders *insert rolling eye emoji*).

2. The Geography

The weird, but what we love, geography of KC. 30 minutes one way and 30 minutes the other can get you in two completely different environments. Higher class, fast paced person? Make your way either downtown or to the plaza. If you enjoy getting a little dirtier than that I’m sure you’ll find plenty of backroads 30 minutes the other way.

And just a little reminder, we are talking about Kansas City, MISSOURI right now…not Kansas City, Kansas.

3. The City

KC has a way of bringing out the best in all of us.

The plaza and the upbeat atmosphere, the history you can relive at the World War 1 Museum, or ride a train from union station and stare at all of KC’s glory, while you’re at union station walk through and look up at the gorgeous painting above your head. Downtown you can experience a new type of wall art, whether that be standing and taking our favorite selfies in front of the “in love with KC” wall or the pink angel wings and plenty more on top of that if you enjoy searching a little bit.

4. The BBQ

Food is all of our favorite things, right? Well you’ll find plenty of it in good ole’ Kansas City, Missour-ah! Find the best BBQ around at Arthur Bryant’s, Q39, Jack Stack, Gates, Porky’s, and the list goes on and on.

You can say you’ve tasted ribs or burnt ends before…but you really haven’t until you’ve had Kansas City’s burnt ends and ribs.

5. The Popular Events

Every city has it’s share of events that has the entire city talking, but here we have it with a wider spread.

The events go from one end of the city to the other, Santa-Cali-Gon, Downtown Days, the “famous” Royals parade in 2015, St. Patty’s day parade, movies on the Independence square, BBQ competitions, Farmer’s Market, so much more. When we go all out, we go all out!
