Blame it on our ADHD, but we can’t sit still for too long. Forget waterboarding, if someone wanted to torture us they need only make us do the same task day after day. If it’s something we enjoy if might be cool for a few days, but after a while the challenge isn’t there, the interest is gone, and it’s absolutely boring. It’s not that we’re apathetic to life, it’s that we’re so passionate we want to have that high-on-life feeling every moment we’re existing. Even if it’s riding roller coasters, we’ll need a break to go do other things.
If you’re one of us, fear not there is a solution. Here are some things we can do on the side that will enrich our lives and will occupy our short attention.
- Learn to beatbox
- Find festivals near you and go to them
- Go on a skateboarding tour around your neighborhood

- Find a pond, lake, puddle and throw in a coin to make a wish
- Call a friend
- Learn how to invest in stock
- Light a new candle and do something new/learn something for that long.
