8 Things To Do In New York This Summer

1. Ride a bike across the Brooklyn Bridge

A fun, relaxing way to get a great view of the big apple.

Pick a direction and get the chance to see Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the statue of liberty!

If you’re up for it, you can even continue along in the Brooklyn park, ride along!

2. Go to a concert at Jones beach or MSG

A little Birdie told that we’re in for some major concerts this Summer…

With artists ranging from Blink 182, Justin Bieber, Billy Joel, Rob Thomas, the Counting Crows, and more– there’s bound to be a venue you’re just dying to attend.

3. Go to a baseball game

Take me out to the ball game!

Grab a bag of peanuts, throw on your cap, and get ready to root your heart out.

Who knows, maybe you’ll catch a ball!

4. Rent a rowboat in central park

For one hour, it’ll cost you $12.

Split that amongst yourself and 3 friends, and that’s only $3 each!

If you ask me, that’s $3 well spent…

5. Learn to cook with fresh summer produce

If there’s one thing NYC is known for, its for their gourmet food and top notch chefs

Check out one of the many cooking classes NYC has to offer and embrace the fresh produce of the Summer!

6. Take a gelato making class

This one has my name written all over it…

Don’t forget to check out Groupon!

I’ve seen Mia Chef Gelateria have some fantastic deals.

Learn how to make this delectable dessert and take some home to share with friends…or keep it all to yourself–your choice!

7. Head to the beach

Take a trip to Long Island or the Hampton’s for a day in the sun

Grab an ice pop and a drink, lay back and relax!

I mean, like, beach don’t kill my vibes…

8. Visit Smorgasburg

I’d say do it for the insta but seriously, do it for the soul!

Who doesn’t want a day filled with decadent, one-of-a-kind NYC #eeeeats

From the Ramen Burger, the Spiced Mango, all the way to the Lobster Rolls– Dig in!
