If you have to repair any considerable cracks, you’ll need to wait six months before applying a sealer. 

2. Retrofit Your Garage Door 

The next time you pull up to your home, observe the outside layout. Chances are, your garage door makes up 30% or more of your home’s exterior. It makes the entire place look shabby if you don’t take care of it. Plus, poorly maintained doors create a significant hazard for your family. 

Set aside some time to retrofit your garage door, inspecting it for any missing or loose parts. It’s a wise idea to change the codes regularly as well. That way, if you’ve previously handed out your code to a cleaning or construction company, you can prevent unauthorized entry. 

3. Add Extra Storage Space 

When you ask homebuyers what they want, garage storage space makes the list time and again. Fortunately, you don’t need to spend a lot to make a your place look great. 

Some hardware stores give out wooden pallets for free, and you can use these to construct shelves. Pegboard is pretty low-costand makes the ideal place to hang lawn equipment and other tools. You can use plastic storage bins for items like toys and sports equipment.
