A Letter to my Beautiful Niece

Thanks for being my little best friend.

"I may not have carried you for 9 months but I will spend the rest of my life loving you, protecting you, and doing whatever I need to make you happy"

I remember when you were born, and how I didn't get to see you right away but I when I did I knew we would be best friends. I remember those pretty blue eyes and that little smile shining at me. You made me an aunt and I'm ever so thankful for you.

Thank you for teaching me so much. You taught me what it's like to have a "mini me." To have someone who is constantly looking up to me. You taught me patience, making me remember that I too, was once a child. Most importantly you taught me how to love. How to love everyone around you despite what they did.

The way your heart cares for everyone around you is phenomenal. You are such a sweet girl and I hope you never lose your wonderful qualities. The world is so blessed to have a girl like you.

You deserve the whole world, and I hope you get everything you dream of. I hope you always have the strength that you carry, you can do anything you put your mind to.

Thank you for always making me laugh. Your little smile makes my days so much better. Thank you for making my life better since the moment you entered. You turn my worst days into happy days simply by saying the sweetest things.

Thank you for showing me that someday I want to have kids. I hope to have a daughter who lets me do her hair and is my best friend like you are. For now I'm going to enjoy you being my best friend and spend time with you because you're growing so quickly.

What I want to thank you the most for is you never judging me. It means so much to know that no matter what I do or what happens in my life that you still love me and treat me like I'm the most amazing person in the world. I appreciate you and your heart. Thank you for being the greatest niece in the whole world.
