Admit It Girls, We're Suckers for Jerks

Most girls demand respect in everyday life, the workplace, and relationships.  We want a guy who'll hold the door, pull out our chair, compliment us, etc.

So why do we inevitably get bored when we finally find a "good on paper" guy?

We crave respect but as soon as we get it, we find ourselves looking for something more: a rush, that exhilarating spark that only ever seems to come from not-so-good guys.

Those unreliable, unpredictable, only-comes-around-when-he-wants-something kinds of guys who know how to make us crazy in all the right ways.

You'd think we'd be attracted to guys who ask what we want, but for some reason, girls like us want to be told what to do.

Instead of a never-ending argument about where to eat, they'll say "we're going here." When they call the shots in the bedroom, it turns us on that much more.

Our friends can't stand guys like that. They're enraged that we'd allow them to disrespect us and want us to stay as far away from them as possible.

And we get where they're coming from. These guys are by no means angels…

But our urges are way too strong to care. We're not going to let even the most well-meaning opinions get in the way of our fun.

And honestly, that's all these guys are to us – a fleeting bit of fun.

We're still young. We have no commitments, so what's wrong with having a good time? It's not like we're looking for husbands.

Our 20's are the time to do what makes us happy. If dancing with the devil is what we want to do, we're going to freakin' dance. We'll be safe; we know not to ever let our guard down or worse… fall for them.
