All the Best Ways to Keep Your Relationship Spontaneous and Sweet

Find your person. The one who pushes you to learn new skills.  The person who tells you that you should start writing more because they love the way your mind works.

Your person will make you feel like you can do anything you set your mind to. When you find them, make all your daydreams come true. Learn everything you can about them, soak them up, and every being in love.

Be spontaneous.

Go on an adventure at 1 am to a place you’ve never been. Drive across state lines.

If they are from a place you’ve never been, have them drive you around where they grew up. Like the softball field, they played on, their grandma’s house, or even the dirt roads they used to drive when they couldn’t sleep.

Pick up your favorite bottle and dance to old records until the sun comes up.

You don’t always have to go out on the town to have a good time. Sometimes the best nights are the ones spent alone.

Try new things.

Eat a food that you never imagined tasting because they ask you to. Listen to music that doesn’t normally pop up on your phone because its their favorite genre.

Do something that scares the shit out of you because you’re doing it with them. Go fucking bungee jumping.

Binge watch shows and discuss your opinions.

Yes, talk during the show. Learn about each other. Would they want to be kept on life support? Donate their body to science?  Would they want a never before performed medical procedure performed on them?

Travel the world.

Stay up all night planning a trip whether you take it in the next year or 10 years. Find out the places that they’ve always wanted to visit.

Do they want to go to Bora Bora and swim with sharks?  Or even to Disney to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter?

Go to an amusement park.

You can learn a lot about a person when you’re riding rollercoasters. Let them drag you onto a Ferris Wheel if you’ve never rode one. Watch their face as the coaster reaches its peak and the adrenaline sets in.
