Every Girl Needs a Best Friend, They Just Make Life Less Sucky

When you have someone in your life that picks you up when you fall, keep them around.

No, seriously, hug them the tightest you have hugged anyone in your life and never let them go.

You’re going to have people in your life who kill to see you fail, but you are also going to have those times in your life where you sooner or later actually fail. So find the person who is still at your side helping you with your failure and trying to make you whole again.

People are going to judge you but the people who hold your hair out of your face while you are crying and wiping the snot that comes out of your nose are the people you need in your life.

“My depression is going on right now” Is a text that you should be able to send them and with no ounce of remorse, they should be at your doorstep picking you up.

Think about who can make you laugh the most, who you call when something exciting is happening, who do you tell first with good and/ or bad news?

That is you best friend, your ride or die, your soulmate.

You need someone in your life to give you those little pep talks and how to not cry over the boy who still has your heart, someone to make you laugh controllably, someone to send you those messed up memes on twitter.

Someone that literally makes you LOL through a text message and when someone asks why you are smiling, they will think it’s a boy… but really its just your best friend.

You need someone who listens to you rant 24/7 and will rant with you, not someone who says “omg just get over him” or “seriously, stop complaining”

Someone who texts you randomly about their day while having a totally opposite conversation through snapchat and a fucked up conversation through twitter.

All in all, they are always talking to you. Never ending.

No matter how old you really are, that person can still make you feel like a kid again. Where you can have girls night, doing face masks, reckless things that you would have done at the age of 13 or filling your face with pizza.

There is no way that someone will ever take my best friends position.

She’s the person who helps me in a million and one ways. The person who has saw me at my lowest but still thought I was the best.

She will be my person who holds my hand at my wedding day telling me “we can still run if you wanna” and if I choose to stay, she will still be my person even if I am vowing to give my all to the man of my dreams.

Thank you—for being my soul mate, for being my person.
