For the Girl Who Can't Be with the One She Loves, It's Okay to Give in to Your Heart

“Love that we cannot have is the one that lasts the longest, hurts the deepest, and feels the strongest.”

Her heart is yearning for someone she can’t have.

Someone who would complete her, and who would make her the happiest girl in the world.

And unfortunately, with everything that life has thrown at the two of them, there is just way too many obstacles in the way.

No matter what they do, they can never be together. It’s just a forbidden love.

And it’s not like she can just stop thinking about him, and act like nothing was ever there between the two of them because her mind is crowded with the memories and the thoughts of what could be.

Every day she’s surrounded by friends and family members with their significant others’.

They are all over each other, hugging and kissing, and telling each other how much they love one another.

And then there’s her. Hiding in the background, drowning in thoughts of the one guy she can’t get out of your head.

The guy who everyone else tells her shouldn’t be a thought. The one that people tell her isn’t the one for her.

That leaves her unable to talk about him because the people in your life just don’t understand.

They see just two different people who don’t “seem” like the perfect fit.

When in reality, their hearts belong together.

And she’s afraid to tell people how she really feels because they just won’t get it.

It’s a love people don’t understand.

The couldn’t possibly understand.

Every day she’s holding back from being happy because the one thing that would complete her is off limits.

She has this feeling. This feeling of knowing exactly what she wants. But she’s not able to have it.

And that is such a defeating feeling. It puts her in a deep place she doesn’t know how to get out of.

She feels stuck. Feel like she’s trapped in this lonely world, where she sees this person who she needs so bad, but not supposed to want.

She cares so much for this guy and she wants him to be happy and have everything he wants in life.

But at the same time, deep down, she wants to live that happy life with him.

And every day is a battle of trying to gather up the courage to fight for what she wants. Fight for that life.

And she spends every day trying to convince herself that she’s strong enough to win that battle.
