There are a few things I need you to know before we say “I do.”
I recently started a journey to find God and accept Him into my life. I’ve prayed for your health, that you achieve your dreams, and for God to lead you to me.
Although we don’t know each other yet, I’ve dedicated myself to making sure I’m right for you mentally, emotionally, and physically.
I’ve spent many nights wondering who you are and what you want out of life and I’ve asked myself the same questions.
I’ve discovered that my family will always be the most important thing to me. Although I don’t need their approval to marry you, nothing would make me happier than them loving you (almost) as much as I do.
Please don’t question it when I say “I love you.” I’m an over-analyzer, so if I say that, you can be sure I’ve thought it through and made absolutely certain that you’re the one for me.
Despite how happy and put-together I may seem, I’ve been broken many different ways in my lifetime. I’ve loved, been abused, and lost people I truly cared for.
My heart’s been shattered and set ablaze, but I’ve fought like hell to repair myself. By the time you come into my life, I won’t be anywhere near as broken as I once was.
But no matter how much we both heal, we’ll never be completely perfect. Like all couples, we won’t agree on everything, but I promise to find new ways to fall in love with you each day and to keep you in my prayers at night.
I will always kiss you goodbye and tell you that I love you before leaving for work. No matter what’s happening in life, I’ll make sure you know how thankful I am to have you.
I can’t wait to grow together, start a family, and love you every single day for the rest of our lives.
