You used to be on top of the world, but now you’re just barely scratching the surface.
You were the girl with the plan, the one others looked up to. You never let anything get in your way; until it happened. In the blink of an eye, that girl everyone loved no longer seemed to exist.
It's devastating when your world is suddenly turned upside down. The life you used to know and love no longer seems to be the life you’re living; the happiness you once felt feels so far away.
You look into the mirror and the person staring back at you feels like a stranger. Nothing seems to make sense and you feel completely lost.
Hitting rock bottom was never part of your plan. Life is cruel and unfair, it will tear you down, but you have to get back up.
You can rebuild your life. You can find yourself on top of the world again. Sure, the present might not be exactly what you pictured, but you can always create a better and brighter future for yourself.
You can be the person you've always wanted to be and do the things you've always wanted to do. You have the chance to build a better you, don’t throw it away.
Learn from this and grow. When your life changes dramatically, you learn things about yourself; you realize your unimaginable strength, your true worth, who your real friends are, and what’s best for you.
Take the time to get to know that stranger looking back at you in the mirror. Most importantly, take the time to forgive yourself for hitting rock bottom.
Only once you forgive yourself will you truly begin to love yourself. You’re way too important to not love yourself.
It’ll be hard. There will be nights where you feel like screaming and nothing seems worth it. Push through those doubts and keep fighting your demons.
Remind yourself that rock bottom is not somewhere you want to end up again and make a promise to yourself to do everything in your power to avoid it.
You are worth fighting for. It can be easy to fall into a cycle of self-loathing when your life hits such a low point, but your value and importance in this world are things that will never change.
No matter what, you'll always be a ray of light in others’ worlds.. You are a vital puzzle piece; without you, the big picture would never be fully complete.
Rock bottom is not your permanent home. If you work for a better life and a better you, there will come a time when all the pain you're feeling now is nothing but a distant memory.
