Guys are literally the worst. Never at first, but nine times out of ten they eventually end up being horrible.
They’ll talk to us for a few days, give us all the attention we’ve been missing, have all the same interests and make us laugh nonstop.
The ‘good morning texts’ are plenty and the calls are often… until they’re not.
It’s as simple as that.
He seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet.
The texts come to a fast halt with the occasional, “oh sorry, I was busy.” Except he’s liking videos on Facebook, posting snaps of his dog, and retweeting on Twitter… so what’s up with that?
We start over thinking every text we’ve ever sent to him. We wonder if maybe we shouldn’t have asked him how his day was every day for the last few weeks… maybe if we just said it every other day he wouldn’t have gotten sick of having to answer it.
We drive ourselves crazy wondering what we did to push him away when in reality we did absolutely nothing wrong.
Apparently, guys, these days think this is okay. They think it’s cool to get a girl hooked on them and then leave them hanging with no one to catch them before they fall.
Everything seems to be a convenience now… and for guys only. We’d never intentionally lead a guy on for our own entertainment or ego. We’d never put a guy through the heartache of falling for us only to rip the carpet out from under him.
Ladies, we have to look at this as a dodged bullet. We deserve a better guy who wants to make us a priority in his life, not one who’s willing to walk away so easily.
Guys are literally the worst… but not all of them.
