I always want to spend every single day with him, and I know he feels the same way too. Being happy in a relationship requires initiative. When I first met my boyfriend, we used to have dates at regular places, the movies, the beach, and every other place you could find young couples in love.
This one time we spent the whole day together, had lunch and while taking a walk on the bay, we shared childhood stories and fun memories. That day was all about us, and we shared a deeper connection. Ever since that day I still cannot get over the need to spend more time with him.
Sometimes I wish we did not have to go to our jobs like we had all the money to travel the world enjoy the sun, take lots of pictures and share first-time experiences together. Of course, it would not have to be just us. We can always have our friends come along but preferably the couples, so we can go on mass dates and spend individual time with our lovers.
Yes, I got tired of just thinking about it, and we decided to plan a short trip. So, we started to brainstorm some picnic ideas. And it was fun doing it together. I wanted something different and my lover ever willing to go along with whatever fantasies I had cooking up in my head; we decided to have picnic dates across two separate states.
Some traveling, picnic and a lot of time to spend with each other. Being our first trip together, I could not wait to be alone with him in the car watching him drive as we listen and sing along to our favorite songs over the media player. We enjoyed every moment of our trip with a constant supply of cold and fresh drinks.
We gathered every other item we had on our list and set off to spend the next three days traveling, laughing and sharing incredible moments with each other. It was super great to have had that time to spend with the man I love, our bond has grown stronger ever since then, and we continue to take short trips and grow closer every day.
