It's inevitable, as life goes on we lose people along the way. Sometimes, although we care about the person, our world is just not in alignment with theirs any longer.
You can still appreciate and love them for who they are, but you've gotta know when to cut ties. All too often, some friends are only passing through and we must part ways with them at some point.
However, there are a precious few that we are blessed with, who will remain constant throughout our lives… this girl in particular just doesn't get the pleasure.
She lives and breathes chaos.
You have started to realize that the only drama in your life stems from her. And then when she's not around, you finally feel this sense of… wait what's that word? Oh, yeah, peace.
No matter what's happening, she's got something negative to say about it.
More times than not she's got something bad to say. Whether it's her boyfriend, a friend, your server, the food or Friday night's plans–– she's got a problem with it.
Making her happy is next to impossible.
Try as you may, but nothing is ever enough for this chick. It's draining being friends with her.
Naturally, we love our girl friends and we want them to be happy and content. But this chick really gives you a run for your money.
She couldn't care less when you talk about your life.
You try and talk to her but what you care about and what she cares about are on opposite ends of the spectrum… because all she cares about is herself. It's literally become a struggle trying to carry a conversation these days.
Gossip or silence. Pick your poison.
Even the most intelligent of us still love sharing a juicy story with her best gal pal, but sorry, not 24/7. True friends share all things and talk about more than who's hooking up with who.
Her 'sarcasm' is actually just mean.
Everybody can appreciate sarcasm on all levels, however, not when people are being rude or down right mean.
I'm not saying to drop this chick like a hot potato, but… if you find that one of your "friends" fits most of these points then it might be time to create some space between the two of you.
Sometimes we can love and care for people and find that in truth, we are still better off without them.
Girl, bye.
