That Little Voice Inside Your Head

We’ve all been there. When your mind is going a million different directions, each screaming, ‘This way! This way!’ It all gets so loud sometimes that I can’t even pick out one single thought and hear it.

Lately, I’ve been going through a lot, and my head has been precisely doing just what I described above. It’s infuriating. I have college, and work, and bills, and a social life, and a relationship all to balance at once and I honestly feel like I’m drowning in it all.

I’ve realized though lately that in all the chaos, if I listen close enough to all of the screaming voices in my head trying to tell me what to do, I am able to pick out that one little voice inside of my head. It’s that one that’s telling me what’s the best thing for me to do. It’s not easy getting to it, but let me tell you what; it’s worth focusing to find it.

We all have that little voice inside our heads that’s not like all of the others. It’s the one that’s not screaming for attention, trying to be the loudest just to get your attention. It’s the one that’s waiting patiently in the corner, waiting it’s turn to be picked, for when the time is right.

Do you know what I’m talking about?

It’s that one that makes the most sense of them all. The one that’s so clear, you wished you would have found it right away rather than dealing with all of the other crazy, wrong thoughts. It’s the one you’ve been waiting for. It’s the one you’ve been searching for.

So, go. Go find that little voice inside your head. It’s there in all of the chaos. It’s waiting for you to find it.
