You never knew it was going to happen. You were a senior in high school, your whole life a head of you. You were with the same guy since your freshman year, someone safe, reliable, boring.
You had the one best friend you trusted with everything. You had always thought you life was going to be like this .. perfect. Then you met him. The guy you never thought you’d see yourself with someone outgoing, funny, someone alive. He made your life so, complete. First you just started talking Snapchats, Facebook messenger. Then shit got real from there.
In the moment you never thought of it as cheating, you just thought you where just talking with someone who you understood you, a friend. Then somewhere down the road you developed feelings for him. It was a feeling you never thought you would have felt before. He made you feel, free. Like someone you had never saw yourself being before. Someone who will bring the good out in you. Someone who will believe in anything that you did. Someone to bring out the true you, who you wanted to be but was afraid.
You don’t have to hide the true you from him , because he understands because he will always understand.
