This Is Why a 'Drama Free, Single AF' Lifestyle Is What You Need

More and more millennial women are finding themselves “single and loving it,” and it’s pretty obvious why.

Employed and independent, these women don’t need a man to take care of them, and in all honesty, even if they did?

Millennial men wouldn’t be and currently aren’t anything millennial women want to be tied down to.

So, why bother?

In a culture of Netflix and chill, it’s hard to find a gentleman willing to put in the effort needed for an enriching and loving relationship.

Spending small fortunes on rent, concerts, and barhopping each month—these young men can hardly provide much security.

Other than a couple low key dinner dates, they’re not fronting much cash.

Not that the women need them to. They have money on their own.

In our 21st century economy, women can no longer afford to stay at home. They need to earn their keep just as much as the men, and they do it.

Drawing strength from their inner Donna Summer, they work hard for the money. They play hard, too.

Spending money on parties and fun, DIY and outings with the girls—women are out doing just the same things that the guys are.

With financial dependence taken off the table, the only thing left to gain from a man is a good time.

However, millennial men tend to be extremely immature. Other than some physical fun, millennial men aren’t very enjoyable to be around.

Raised believing they can conquer the world and thinking they’re hot shit for holding down a job, these aren’t necessarily the most humble of people, are they?

Along with their inflated egos, in a world of the disposable and the dispensable, these men have become accustomed to treating women just the same way they would a once-used plastic bottle.

Playing the field like a dating app, they think they can just swipe again if a woman isn’t everything they think she should be.

Or maybe the woman is everything a guy could ever ask for, but these men like variety.

So, they stupidly throw away the best thing that ever happened to them.

It’s no wonder why young women have become a tad cynical after several attempts at ‘getting out there.’

Ain’t nobody got time for the bullshit these guys are dishing out, and not one of them is any different from the others.

No need to go out and find ‘Mr. Right.’ That man became extinct two decades ago.

All that’s left are these childish young men who expect billboard models, constant attention, and inflation of their ego, porn star sex, and a chilled down attitude.

No drama.

Well, women don’t want the drama either, so that’s why more and more of them have been shunning the dating scene with a curt, “No. Thank you.”

Millennial men just aren’t fitting the bill, and this is coming from the women who wrote the bill.

They are the creators of their own lives, and so if the millennial man just isn’t going to fit, then they’re not even going to try and shove that puzzle piece in.

So, “single and loving it” these women will stay because when it comes down to providing, caring, and loving their own damn selves, the millennial woman has it down.

They don’t need a childish male by their side only to tear them down.

They just don’t need it.

Therefore, in answer to the question—why are millennial women choosing to be single?

Because there’s no reason for them not to be. It’s as simple as that.
