To the girl who has never quite fit in

You're not alone.

But you've heard that before. In fact, you're probably rolling your eyes at the fact that you just read that.

While others are enjoying the same things and talking about similar interests, you stay quiet because you just don't have much to say. Later, though, your thoughts will haunt you and you'll wonder what's wrong with you

It's not that you don't get along with people, or that everyone hates you. You've just never found a place to call your own.

Going through life, it seems like everyone has a place. But you've never had one. You've never really stood out and oftentimes you feel unnoticed.

Your FOMO is so real most days, and it always feels like life is happening beyond you. The grass is always greener... right? But while you feel like you're missing out on life, you're actually living it more than those who you're looking towards.

They're the ones who are stuck. Keep reminding yourself of this.

While everyone else is getting caught up in drama and other nonsense, you're making a life for yourself. And you're doing a lot better than you realize.

Forget everyone else. Their opinions don't matter. Hold onto your uniqueness, and don't be afraid to embrace who you are.

Fitting in matters less than staying true to yourself.

The reason why you've never fit in doesn't really matter. What does matter, though, is that you see it as a strength – not a weakness. Your inability to conform just says that you're stronger than what others expect – and that's pretty damn special.

You are beautiful. You're a diamond in a world of unpolished rocks

You don't have to fit in when you're meant to stand out.
