You feel like your life is being lived, but not by you.
It's like you're a car on autopilot but you're not moving forward, just going through the forest wandering aimlessly. You're smiling because you're supposed to, not because you feel the happiness that usually brings the smile to your face.
The world is moving around you, fast and blurry, but you're just standing still watching it happen around you.
Trust me when I say, we've all gone through this, or are going through it, or are about to go through it because everyone has a time in their lives when they just don't know who they are, where they're going or who they want to be.
You might feel alone, but you aren't. Just because people aren't talking about it, doesn't mean that they don't feel the same way. They probably do.
The good news is that when you're living a part of life when you don't really feel like going out with friends or partying, it usually means that you're about to reach your reason.
Maybe not your reason for life in general, but your reason for whatever is next. You're about to figure out where you want to go, who you want to be.
And I'll tell you this, it is the most satisfying feeling in the world.
You will be sitting in your room, crying for a reason you can't figure out and it will hit you that it's time to stop doing it.
Stop giving into the weird feelings that are constantly overcoming you. Stop hiding the fact that you're sad, whether it's hiding from your loved ones or even yourself.
Make a goal and work towards it because that's what life is. Goals and working towards them.
Losing yourself can be one of the scariest things in the entire world because you were always told that the one person you'll always have is yourself, so when you don't even have that, who do you have?
But the fact of the matter is that you have not lost yourself, you simply feel you have. You truly do always have yourself. You just need to sit down and find yourself inside.
Keep pushing yourself and you will be found. When you're feeling lost, there's no cure. There is no way to just find it again, you just have to believe that you're there, keep living and eventually you will be found.
And when it's all over, the pain will be worth it because when you find yourself again, you will feel more like yourself than you ever have in your life.
