As a mellinial, I'm far more aware of the political madness that is ensuing. Since this will be my third time voting, it normally wouldn't be as big of a deal, but since this is the craziest election to happen, it's a big deal.
I'm a registered Democrat, and I thought seriously about registering as Independent when I was 18, and the time came for me to register, I didn't register Independent because it meant that I wouldn't be allowed to vote in any Primaries, so I registered Democrat.
I voted for Obama in 2008 and again in 2012, honestly because he was the Demcratic nominee. That was my thought process behind it.
But now that I'm older, and have unfortunatley been exposed to the madness that is the current Presidential election, I know 100% that I WILL NOT be voting for Donald Trump.
Sure, being a Democrat and voting Republican isn't unheard of, and sure, it might be understandable for Republicans or Democrats to switch sides when voting. But it seems that a lot of Republicans are switching sides.
Donald Trump is the WORST thing to happen to a political race since Hitler decided to run and won his dictatorship, look where that go the world.
As a white, 27 year old woman, the thought of Donald Trump even existing on this earth makes my skin crawl.
He isn't even worthy of being called a man. This person who degrades women any chance he gets, who, somehow, has been married three times, who has gone bankrupt six times, and who might be the most mysoginistic, homophobic, racist human being,and the person who sexually assaulted a woman, and maybe more, and acted like it was nothing is NOT worthy of being President.
I think a lot about character of people, not always what they have to haven't done in their lives or careers.
He WILL NOT make America great again.
He WILL NEVER get the wall he wants, unless he or his daddy pay for it.
He WILL NOT be able to overturn the Supreme Court decision on same sex marriage because, news flash, the Supreme Court is HIGHER then the President is.
Please decide smartly when you go to vote this November, PLEASE vote. Even if you feel that your last resort if to write someone in. We as a country CAN NOT let this person win.
