Your man needs some positive reinforcement. If he cleans the apartment, let him know that it means a lot to you! It will definitely pay off for you in the long run, and him, too!

Mutual trust in a relationship is very important. It is just as important that you tell your boyfriend this. If he feels trusted, he will thrive in social situations that include you.
If he is afraid to be able to talk to a member of the opposite sex or spend time with his friends, he will not be happy staying in with you on a Friday night.
9. I respect you.
This also goes along with trust. When you respect someone, you trust them and their judgment. He needs to know that he is just as respected as you are in your relationship.
10. I love you.
Honestly, sometimes being in a relationship is a drag, but you can’t lose sight of why you are together.
You love each other and wouldn’t trade that for the world. Make sure he knows it.
