6. Let them sleep in, even on your only day off together.
It can be hard sometimes to not stick to a strict schedule or to give up a few extra hours of time with your boo. But think about quality of time over quantity. Would you rather wake them up before they wanna be just to make an early morning breakfast at sunrise on Saturday morning, just to sit in silence because they aren’t joyful about only getting 5 hours of sleep. Or would you rather let them wake up on their own and be in a happy, upbeat mood the rest of the day, and show appreciation for your letting them sleep??
7. Let them choose the Friday night movie!
I know, giving up a binge-a-thon of Pretty Little Liars or Stranger Things can be probably one of the biggest decisions you ever make. However, letting your babe choose a movie of their muse instead of making them watch something all night that they hate, well, it’s probably going to give you some brownie points later.
8. Give them random kisses.
I’m not usually the mushy-gushy type personally, but sometimes you just have to kiss on someone, and not stop. Try it out and see what happens, you’ll be thanking me later I’m sure.
9. Use your words to build them up.
Forget dirty talk and sexy sarcasm. Whisper those good old-fashioned sweet nothings into their ear. Lift up their soul and make them feel good about themselves. Boost their confidence and let them know how truly wonderful they are.
10. Let them choose where to grab food or what to cook for dinner tonight.
I know it may seem silly, but letting them choose what to do for dinner is actually a selfless thing to do. If they want something you don’t particularly care for, you can always have something different for yourself. None the less, cook what they want for them or go pick it up, let it be your treat so they don’t have to stress about it!
