Things to Know Before Dating Someone Who Suppresses Their Feelings

It’s not that we don’t trust you

it’s that we’re anxious about our vulnerability, all those intimate secrets we’ve shared, being used against us. We know that it’s rather irrational, but we can’t help it.

When we’re quiet, we’re watching our thoughts…

because we like to be careful with what we say as well as how much emotion can show in it. We don’t want to overbearing. Or we could just be internally screaming. That too.

We’ll always vent about someone we don’t like…

because we can’t say it to their face. We’re not fans of confrontation but we can’t keep all that pent up anger inside because it’ll eventually escape the wrong way, so we’ll rant about it to you. All you have to do is listen and try not to be weird about said person if you ever happen to meet them in person.
