6 Requests For the Man I’ll Someday Marry

Remind me to come back to Earth once in a while.

I’m queen of having my head in the clouds. I’m always dreaming of what’s going to happen tomorrow, or next week, or ten years from now, and the truth is that these are all terrifying to me.

Ground me and remind me to live in the present, rather than wishing away the in-between years.

Explore every corner of the world with me.

Once a year, we have to go somewhere we’ve never been before.

But we also have to visit the important places: where we met, where we fell in love, where you proposed, and where I lost my shoe that one time (because trust me, it happens).

Love me.

I promise, I’m going to love you with everything I’ve got, so please give me the same in return. I’ll do everything within my power to make our life together a happy one.

Do me the favor of letting me in, breaking down my walls, and keeping my heart safe.

For her, life is a balance of drinking too much coffee, dancing in the rain, and seeing every corner of the world. She loves dogs more than most people, enjoys doing yoga, often finds herself lost in a good book, and is a self-proclaimed language nerd. She is convinced that she should have been born in The Great Gatsby era. Twitter handle: Facebook URL: https://www.facebook.com/MichellesMusings94
