Summer lovin’ had me a blast….
Well hey it works in musicals right? Summertime in pop culture is depicted by shadowy guy and shadowy girl, hand-held, and sun rays blossoming their auspicious love tale. But in reality it’s a tad bit different, or does it have to be?
I was always fond of summer love possibly because the first time I experienced the feeling was around July 4th cue ‘When I met you in the Summer’ Even though I was 13 years old, I can still remember like it was yesterday. And yes, I had me a blast! It was my own little version of what Danny and Sandy experienced prior to returning to Rydell High.
