I’ve made more time for myself this week such as spending time with family/friends and not being glued to my phone the whole time. I actually had dinner with my parents one night and was able to keep my phone in my purse the entire time (insert laughing emoji)!
I challenge everyone to take a day, two days or even a week away from social media. You may find this silly and I understand, it is a tad bit silly; however, If you are one that feels that way, you are most likely one this would be good for.
Most of us are so consumed with what is happening in other peoples lives rather than focusing on what is happening in our own lives. We (me) find ourselves comparing our lives to others, our looks, personalities, relationships and so forth. Working on myself lately and taking a step back to focus on what is important in life has helped change my mindset on how I view myself. I trust myself enough to know that I’ll get there. There truly is no rush to be the best version of you. Be happy with who you are and love yourself. God made you to be you, not someone else.
