Pride Month: Fighting For Love This Month And Always

I think this country needs to work on just loving people for they are. I will stand with anyone fighting for love, because it is the purest thing that we have as human beings. It is my belief that everyone should feel love no matter what. Having found the love of my life, I hope that everyone gets to experience this with whom ever they choose to. So this is an open letter to my cousin who chooses to live his best life everyday and love himself in the best way.

A,

I know that I may not have told you this, however, I want to say how much I love you. And I am so proud of you for doing what you believe in and counting the fight. I am not going to pretend that I understand what you are going through. However, I want you to know that no matter what I am here. And I will support and be there if you need me.

I will stand and support you because I know that you are living your best life and nobody should have the right to take that away from you. And I always want you to feel comfortable coming to my home and bringing who ever you love. I want you to be involved my my future childrens life and show them what it means to love and to love unforgivingly. And I want us to set the example that we can all love one another no matter what and we can all respect one another no matter what.

Hi, my name is Emily and I am 26. I spend a lot of my time being a dog mom to my Irish setter, Annie and trying to be the very best girlfriend to my very best friend. I am a full time student and although I am not sure what I want my career to look like, I do know that I want to help people. I also work full time as a teaching assistant. Writing is one of my hobbies, which is what brought me to Puckermob. I love having a place where I can share my stories, the good and the bad. I love that I can share the things that have helped me through the hard times, as well as, all of the good things that are happening. I also love to read. Some of my favorite books right now are “Didn’t see that coming,” by Rachel Hollis and “Daring Greatly,” by Brene Brown. You can find me on Instagram where you can see all of my adventures with Annie, my boyfriend, and my baby-sister.
