3.Go out on a date

Expressing your love also means leaving your lives behind and going out on romantic dates. Maybe your romantic life is getting boring because it is embedded in a routine.

Going back to the beginning through dates and courtship Cook for each other and you actually don’t have to spend a dime. You will be surprised by the effect a simple evening walk alongside your significant other can have on your love life. If you forgot how to have fun as a couple, maybe going for a double date can help you get started.

4.Improve your bedroom

Makeover your bedroom. And recreate the romantic retreat you used to love during courtship. Bring in natural lighting, install romantic décor items, invest in quality beddings, create a relaxing atmosphere by bringing in houseplants, get rid of the clutter, and paint the walls in soft romantic colors. Invest in scented candles. Get the laundry basket out. In a nutshell, make the bedroom look more like a luxury hotel room as opposed to the storage room. After doing all that, remember that marriages often go stale due to lack of sex. Don’t improve the bedroom just to sleep in it; find some passion under those sheets!

5.Plan together

If you are like most couples, there is a good chance that you got together in the first place because you shared most of your dreams and visions. You were planning your life together and couldn’t imagine living without your partner by your side. What changed to make you stop planning together?

Hit the reset button and start planning together all over again. Involve each other in key decisions, including how to spend your money. And whether you will combine your money or separate it, doesn’t matter.  What is important, is that you make that decisions together.

Marriage Takes Work

Take time to understand your partner better. And show compassion for each other on your journey together. Because we all love to feel cherished, and to be recognized for what we bring to a marriage. So focus on your contributions as a team and you will get your marriage back on track.
