You need to be able to communicate–to not just reply with one-word answers or one sentence messages. And you need to be able to always say how you feel when you feel it. Instead of hiding it or leaving it for later.
Because over thinkers will try to find meaning in everything that you say and do. So you might as well be completely open with them, even if it’s hard to do. They will always appreciate honesty, and they will always be honest with you in return.
You need to be able to talk them out of their frenzies. And to be able to calmly tell them, ‘no that isn’t going to happen’
Loving an over-thinker can be a challenging, but it’s worthy. They have a big heart and love hard. Overthinkers are complex human beings but that also makes them beautifully unique.
They might sometimes drive you crazy, but they will stay loyal to you for eternity, no matter how many weird habits you have or how much baggage that you carry.
