I know there are times you question your own sanity, as you invest time and effort into someone who leaves you confused. But don’t think of yourself negatively for it.
I see someone who is brave and courageous. I see someone who’s willing to love another person with everything they have even when it isn’t always reciprocated. That’s one of the most selfless things you can do. That’s the definition of love.
You’ve been loving the wrong people – or the wrong single person – for so long, you’ve forgotten what’s right. And if you’re loving this person so deeply, but he’s not the right one, imagine how wonderful it’ll be when you do get it right.
But in order to step towards the right path, it requires you to let go of the one person who seems to be holding you back.
I know how scary that is. I know how frightened you might be to rely on yourself completely.
This guy has acted as your safety net as you’ve walked across that tightrope of life. There’s always that security of you two relying on one another. You know if you really needed him, he’d be there. Just like if he really needed you, he wouldn’t even need to finish the sentence and you’d already be in your car.
